Abstract

1,047,853. Toy printing machines. MATTEL Inc. Sept. 9, 1965 [March 19, 1965], No. 38596/65. Heading A6S. A toy printing machine comprises a rotatable printing drum 68, roller means 104 for feeding sheets 30 to be printed on, to said drum, and means for rotating the drum. The type on the surface of the drum is made from adhesive tape stored in the machine and having embossing means comprising a dial 238 having letter indicating means comprising a window 242 to indicate the letters being embossed. After embossing a line of type, a protective covering is removed from the sticky face prior to placing on the drum. An inking roller 140 keeps the type suitably inked.
