Abstract
1,064,805. Antifoggants. FUJI SHASHIN FILM KABUSHIKI KAISHA. April 15, 1965 [April 17, 1964], No.16413/65. Heading G2C. Photographic silver halide emulsion layers or a protective layer adjacent thereto contain as antifoggant a compound containing a single aziridine group in particular those represented by the general formulae:- wherein R1, R2 and R3 may be H, methyl or ethyl; X is CO, CS or SO2; Y is substituted or unsubstituted aryl or -NR4R5 in which R4 and R5 are H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl; A is H, COOR7 in which R7 is alkyl, aryl or aralkyl, CN, CONH2, - COCH3, alkyl or aryl; R6 is H, methyl or -CH2. COOR8 in which R8 is alkyl; mand n are 0 or 1; and Z1 and Z2 are NH2, - NH.R4, - NR4R5 or OR4 .
