1342149 Photographic silver halide emulsions FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 20 Dec 1971 [21 Dec 1970] 59197/71 Heading G2C Photographic light-sensitive silver halide emulsions are chemically sensitised by a compound of The Formula: - where R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP> and R<SP>4</SP> are each H or substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or aralkyl groups, or R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>2</SP> and/or R<SP>3</SP> and R<SP>4</SP> together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached form cycloalkyl groups. The emulsions also preferably contain sodium thiosulphate and/or sodium thiosulphato-aurate.
