Abstract

106,206. Johnston, H. Aug. 26, 1916. Screens, furniture.-A screen for domestic purposes comprises a frame 1, 2, 3, 4 mounted on castors 9 and having, pivotally mounted on the members 1, 2, tubes 10, 12 connected to members 14. Extensions 17 are mounted telescopically in the tubes 12. Curtain-supporting rods 26, 21, 33, 24, 30 are mounted on the frame members. The rod 24 is supported by its ends engaging in knobs 23 having stems which are inserted in the open ends of the members 1. 2. The rods 21 have looped ends encircling the frame members, and the rods 30, 33 are engaged with non-rotatable sockets 31 and rotatable sockets 35 respectively. The side frames when folded on the main frame are supported on a bracket 20 on the member 4. A continuous sheet of material is passed round the frame members.
