Abstract

Tresfle.s.-A spring bow 10 with inturned ends 9 is pivoted in bearings 8 on a frame 7 and is adapted to expand into spaces formed between the end of the frame and blocks 11 so as to be held in the open position, or to be contracted between the blocks when folded. The combined structure may form a part of a stand. Corner pieces 21, Fig. 8, may be used instead of the separate blocks 11, the sides of the bow being held in spaces 23 when folded and in spaces 22 when in use. The sides of the bow may be contracted by a pull on a cord guided over pulleys on a horizontal rod loosely mounted on the sides.
