Abstract

106,109. Prescott, G. April 5, 1916. Sighting - accessories; machine and aiming rests.- To facilitate sighting a rifle from cover, and to allow of the eve of the marksman being at the same level as, but to one side of, the sighting-line, there is provided, according to the present invention, a mirror A fixed at an angle of 45‹ to the sighting-line and provided with a clip mount to engage the stock as shown. Recoil is taken up by means of an anchor B formed with an eye to engage the bayonet boss and a recess to engage the bayonet standard or sword bar.
