Abstract

1,057,798. Burners. VYZKUMNY œSTAV ZVARACSKY MHD. Aug. 6, 1965 [Aug. 29, 1964], No. 33800/65. Heading F4T. A burner for flame cutting comprises an inner annular member 2 supplying cutting oxygen, a coaxial central annular part 3 and a coaxial annular jacket 4. Heating oxygen is supplied to the annular channel 5 between the central part 3 and the minor member 2 and combustible gas is supplied to the annular channel 9 between the central part 3 and the jacket 4. The heating oxygen and the combustible gas are mixed in the annular space 7 between the inner member 2 and the thickened discharge end of the jacket 4. The gas enters the mixing space 7 through an annular nozzle 6 formed by a shoulder on the inner member 2. The heating oxygen enters the mixing space 7 through an annular passage 8 between the end of the central part 3 and the thickened end of the jacket 4.
