Abstract
In a haymaking machine of the kind having a row of driven tined rake-members rotatably mounted on a frame, each rake-member carries two circumferential rows of tines the rows being spaced from each other axially of the rake-member and all the tines are spaced at equal radial distances from the axis, the rake-members being so relatively positioned that the tines of one row of each rake-member pass between the two rows of an adjacent rake-member. Each tine is carried on the end of an arm carried by a hub. The hubs are detachably mounted on driven axles and are of different axial lengths on either side of their respective arms, so that by repositioning the hubs on their axles the distance between the rows of tines and arms on each rake-member can be varied. The axles project rearwardly from a transverse casing mounted on castor wheels and towed by a tractor from which a drive is taken to the axles.
