1,055,605. Supplying oil to burners. DANFOSS A.S. Oct. 5, 1965 [Oct. 30, 1964], No. 42210/65. Heading F4T. An oil pump 2 (Figure not shown), supplying a burner nozzle 4 through a cut-off valve 4 is driven by an asynchronous electric motor 1 having a main winding 7 and an auxiliary winding 8 arranged so that when the motor is deenergized the two windings form a complete circuit and the current therein brings the motor to rest in a relatively short time. The two windings may be permanently arranged to form a closed circuit, Fig. 1 (not shown), or a starter switch controlling the auxiliary winding closes or is shunted by a further switch when the main switch is opened, Fig. 2.
