Abstract
1,116,705. Control of A.C. motors. G. W. KING Ltd. 10 March, 1967 [21 March, 1966], No. 12395/66. Heading H2J. A hoist motor 1 has separate high and low speed windings and an electromechanical brake winding 2 which, when either motor winding is fully energized, is energized in series with the other motor winding, the current through it being insufficient to influence the motor. Speed is selected by push button contacts 6, slight and heavy pressure being used to obtain low and high speed respectively.
