1402771 Control of D.C. motors LUCAS INDUSTRIES Ltd 24 Jan 1973 [28 Jan 1972] 4088/72 Heading H2J The direction of rotation of a series motor 10, 11, 12 is determined by which of field windings 11, 12 is energized through switch 17, 18, 19, the field not in use being earthed by switch 22, 23, 24 and diode 25 or 26 blocking current through it. Limit switches 13, 14 may be included to stop the motor at predetermined positions.
