Abstract
1,050,121. Key-rings. J. A. DREYFUS. Aug. 4, 1964 [Aug. 2, 1963; July 17, 1964], No. 31395/64. Heading A4G. [Also in Division E2] The keys for a lock of the kind described in Division E1-E2 are designed to be kept in a finger ring 86. Each key has an inclined slot 85 which is suspended on a pin 84 of the ring 86, the other end of the key having a hook portion 88 which is adapted to engage a pin 87 so that the key can be held and completely located within the ring. The key is released by pulling the hooked end 89 outwards with the aid of a pin. Each ring can carry at least four keys the keys being identified by markings on the ring corresponding with markings on the locks. A lateral depression is provided on the ring to engage with a notch on the lock to ensure correct positioning of the key in relation to the lock.
