Abstract

A moulding process comprises coating a sand mix with a liquid precursor for a thermosetting resin, coating a second sand mix with a liquid polymerization agent for said precursor, subsequently mixing and moulding the two precoated sands and effecting a cure to the hardened state e.g. at room temperature or by heating. A number of resins and catalysts are exemplified.
