Non-reactive steering-mechanism for separately-pivoted wheels.-In motervehicles, more particularly of the kind which are driven by V-type engines mounted between the front wheels, the steering-mechanism consists of a vertical shaft a carried in bearings a<1>, a<2> on a bracket b and operated by an inclined hand-wheel shaft i, through which the engine controlling-shafts pass. The means for operating the shaft a consist of a screw h on the shaft i engaging a nut g having inclined rackteeth on one face which engage a pinion on the shaft a.
