Cycle tractor attachments. - An auxiliary driving-motor, adapted to be attached at the rear of and in track with a pedal cycle, consists of a road wheel a having a hood or cover b on which is mounted at one side the motor c and on the other side the fly-wheel e so that the two balance one another. The crank-shaft j projects through a stuffing-box in the crank case d. A fuel tank o is carried. above the horizontal cylinder c. The tractor is attached to the rear of the cycle by two flat springs s which are flexible vertically but do not allow lateral displacement. The low-tension magneto, shown also in Fig. 6, consists of permanent magnets l bolted with intermediate insulating- pieces l<1> to the interior of the fly-wheel, so that they revolve around a C-shaped armature m having a winding m<1>.
