Frame components, sections and forms of, and applying and combining; tubular constructions.- A motor-scooter or motor-cycle &c. has a onepiece sheet-metal member forming the frame and connected to the steering-post by a fuel tank or stays, or forming mud-guards and connected to a channel-shaped or tubular frame. The one-piece member g, Fig. 1, forms the frame and is connected to the steering-post j by a fuel-tank h, and also serves as a housing for the engine e. A wind-shield k is bolted to the frame member g. The front and rear parts of the frame may be connected by a sloping tubular member forming a fuel-tank. The frame member may be connected to the steering-post by stays. A channelshaped frame m, Fig. 5, secured to the steering- post by stays l, may be used, the one-piece shield g being secured to the frame m. The channel-shaped frame may be replaced by a tubular frame. Specification 158,616, [Class 136 (iii), Velocipedes &c., Kinds &c. of], is referred to.
