[Classes 79 (ii) and 79 (iii)] [Also in Group XXIV] The motor casing 3 of an electric vehicle is pivoted to the chassis frame 1, 2 at 4 and acts as a lever arm carrying the road wheel and controlled by a spring 10, the motor shaft having a pinion 5 driving an internally-toothed ring 6 secured to the road wheel by a seating 7 of vulcanised rubber. The pinion 5 may be mounted on the motor shaft by means of a vulcanised rubber bush.
