Abstract

146,806. Lea, R. H., and Alderson, A. March 27, 1920. Mud-guards.-The cable H from a lamp F mounted on the mud-guard E, is passed through a hole in the mud-guard and through the bracket A which supports the mud-guard. The bracket may be brazed to the top of a tubular stay B bolted to the frame and has lugs C which are used for securing the stiffening-strip D and the mudguard E. The cable can be passed through the bracket A and stay B to the vehicle frame without being exposed to water or mud.
