Abstract

[Also in Divisions E1 and E2] In an adjustable louvre shutter, the end frames 12 are of nylon and have on one side integral section jaws 121 for receiving the ends of the louvre 11 and on the other side integral flexible wipers 125 to sweep across and form a seal with the jamb 10. Each frame 12 is integral with a cylindrical boss 122 having a hub section 123 turnably fitting within the hole 101 in the jamb 10. Disc 13 is fixed into the boss 122 and has a projection 131 mating with a recess 124. Each disc 13 is pivoted to operating bars 14. Each of the rearmost upper pair of wipers 125A has its lower end portion merging outwardly into the periphery of the boss section 122 and this wiper also co-operates with an inclined surface 126 terminating at a gap 127 in the upper outer wiper 125B for drainage purposes. The inner lower portion of the wiper 125C has a gap 128 for drainage purposes.
