Abstract

1,038,151. Valves for gas lighters. SAMAO S.A. May 6, 1963 [June 19, 1962], No. 17759/63. Heading F4F. A gas lighter valve comprises a second gas feed member 12 adjustably screwed into a slotted support 2 and bearing at 14 on a cylindrical compression member 15 to compress a yielding packing 9 to control gas flow through a wick-carrying bore 8 therein, and a first gas feed member 16 fitted with a packing 11 which normally abuts the member 15 to close a central bore 10 therein. The member 16 is lifted by the lighter mechanism and has a burner nozzle 21.
