1356668 Fluid-pressure servomotor systems ANDERSON GREENWOOD & CO 9 Sept 1971 [8 Feb 1971] 42112/71 Heading G3P [Also in Division F2] A pressure relief valve controlled by a pilot valve 26 is provided with a valve member 24 biased towards the valve seat 18 by a spring 44 and the pressure of fluid in a chamber 54, and whose movement is stabilized by a p.t.f.e. or nylon annular wedge (60) Fig. 2, (not shown) also under pressure from fluid in chamber 54. The wedge (60) is placed in a groove (64) of the valve member. In an alternative form, the wedge is set into the wall of the sleeve 20 which guides the valve member. The valve member is provided with an adjustable stop 46.
