1355898 Pilot-operated pressure relief valves KOMBINAT ORSTA-HYDRAULIK VEB 25 Oct 1972 49242/72 Heading G3P A fluid pressure relief valve comprises a housing 1 with a fixed plug 7 and a spring-loaded slidable closure member 4 which controls the input 2, which plug and closure member are each provided with a bore 8 and 6 respectively connecting the input to a spring-loaded control valve 9, the bore 8 being provided with a damping orifice 10 for damping the movement of the member 4. Further damping is effected by the chamber 18 being connected to the chamber housing the spring 11 by a gap 14. Alternatively the latter connection can be made via a groove in the plug or a passage with a throttling jet in the plug or the closure member.
