A hinged flap draught excluder for the bottom rail of a door is located on the under edge of the door and is rotated from its horizontal inoperative position in the open door to its vertical operative position in the closed door by the co-operation between a cam surface 31a, 31b at the lock side of the door and a follower 34 on the door and which enters the groove 31 as the door approaches its final closed position. The shaft 24 mounts the follower in alignment with the strips 22 so that with the strip 22 and hence cam follower 34 spring biased to the horizontal position (door open) and flap 17 pointing towards the leading side of the door during closing movement on engaging the cam surface 31a the follower is depressed and rotates the strip 22 downwards. Slots 40 in block 41 enable the cam surfaces to be adjustable on the door jamb, and the block may be positioned under the door. The cam surface may be provided by a rod projecting from the jamb or block 41 and the cam follower may be an arcuate surface on the shaft 24 co-operating with the projecting rod. A square section shaft 24 may rotate in a split resilient bush bearing to give definite horizontal and vertical positions of the strip 22. When the cam mechanism is at the hinge end of the door the cam member comprises a pin which extends upwardly and outwardly relative to the side of the door jamb and the cam follower is mounted on a cranked portion of shaft 24 (Fig. 9, not shown).
