927,982. Draught &c. excluders. J. OKSLAND. Jan. 31, 1962 [Feb. 10, 1961], No. 3747/62. Class 20 (3). A draught excluder for the bottom of a door comprises a flexible strip 18 mounted in a U-shaped metal rail 19 which houses and is fixed to a cylindrical rod 21 rotatably mounted in bearings 23, 24 received in openings 25, 26 in the rail 19 and urged to the position shown by a control spring 27 and the strip 19 is coupled to the rod 21 by a pin 29 movable in a cam slot 28 coaxial with the rod 21. On closing of the door 10, the end of the rod projecting beyond the hinged end of the door strikes against a stop pin 41 on the door jamb, causing the rod to move to the left to be rotated by the pin 29 to rotate the strip 19 with its flexible strip 17 downwardly to fill the gap between the door and floor. The bearings 24, 25 are mounted on a back-plate fixable to the door.
