Abstract

1,032,144. Nuts; bolts; screw-heads. ALLEN MANUFACTURING CO. Feb. 18, 1965 [March 24, 1964], No. 7027/65. Heading F2H. [Also in Division B4] A bolt, Fig. 4, screw or nut, Fig. 6, of high tensile strength, has driving projections like those 33 of Fig. 6, with radial driving faces and outer faces curved coaxially with the fastener axis. The bevel 26, Fig. 4, at the top of each projection may be parallel with the slope 20 of a flange of the bolt head or nut. A socket spanner 23 for use with the fasteners has a complementary inner surface, Fig. 5 (not shown).
