Abstract

1,119,864. Bolts. G.K.N. GROUP SERVICES Ltd. 3 Feb., 1967 [2 Feb., 1966], No. 4506/66. Heading F2H. A bolt comprises a shank 10 having threaded end portions 11, 16 and an outwardly projecting annular rib 12 forming an abutment member, one threaded portion 16 being of the buttress type and being arranged to cooperate with a correspondingly threaded portion 22 of a nut member (Fig. 3) forming the head of the bolt, the nut member having a surface 27 which engages the abutment member 12 when mounted on the shank 10. The bolt may be made from titanium.
