Abstract
1,031,214. Venetian blinds. HUNTER DOUGLAS INTERNATIONAL (QUEBEC) Ltd. Feb. 26, 1963 [March 9, 1962], No. 7744/63. Heading E1J. In a venetian blind of the kind where both the ladder cords 16 and the lift cords 17 are wound on to a rotatable tubular shaft 3 which draws itself along a threaded rod 12 as it rotates, a nylon bearing 4 is employed at each end of the shaft, the bearing having an upper and a lower part, the lower part of which has three horizontal pins projecting therefrom, on to which are slid two plates to provide two separate slots through said lower part of the bearing, through which the ladder cords and the lift cords pass separately.
