A device for dispensing paste from a collapsible tube comprises a casing 10 in which the tube 12 is secured by its nozzle and a collar 13 carrying both a squeezing device comprising spaced rods or rollers 16 and a transverse rotatable spindle 14, around which spindle the closed end of the tube coils when the spindle is rotated, causing the collar to move axially with respect to the casing so that the tube is drawn between the rods or rollers and paste is extruded from the nozzle. The spindle 14 is mounted in diametrically opposed bearings in the collar 13 which is inserted in the open end of the casing 10 so that the spindle enters a longitudinal slot 15X in the casing. A cap 17 is then inserted in the open end of the casing. The pinched end of the tube 12 passes between the rods or rollers 16 positioned slightly below the spindle 14 and at a distance apart equal to or a little more than the diameter of the spindle. A longitudinal slot in the spindle 14 grips the end of the tube 12 so that when the spindle is rotated by a hand wheel 15 the tube coils around the spindle and paste extrudes into a central bore 20 of a rubber or similar material support member 11. An inclined discharge slit 21 opens under the pressure of the extruded paste and closes automatically to prevent seepage. In order to mount the dispensing device in a vertical position on a wall, the casing 10 is provided with a channel-shaped mounting plate 18, Fig. 2 (not shown), welded to the casing and having rubber suction caps 19.
