Abstract
1,028,487. Valves. A/S ANTON PETERSON & HENIUS EFTF. March 31, 1965 [May 21, 1964], No. 13645/65. Heading F2V. A control valve device for use in drawing off liquids, particularly beer, by means of a pressurized gas comprises a housing 1 having an upper inlet chamber 5 and a lower outlet chamber 7 and a wall 8 between the chambers, two valve seats on the wall facing upwards and downwards, respectively, a float-controlled valve member 9 movable in the upper chamber and co-operating with the upper valve seat, and a manually displaceable valve member 10 cooperating with the lower valve seat and designed during its closing operation to directly or indirectly engage the float-controlled valve member when the latter is in engagement with its seat. The float-controlled valve is integral with its float which is slidably engaged with an extension of a screw-actuated spindle 14 for the valve 10. A sight glass 24 having a cover 25 with a manual venting valve 28 forms the float chamber. The float valve member may be replaced by a ball and it may be indirectly coupled to the valve 10.
