Abstract

1,026,824. Inflatable boats. NAUTIQUE SPORTIVE. Oct. 26, 1964 [Oct. 26, 1963], No. 43512/64. Heading B7A. An inflatable boat comprises two inflatable elements 2, 3 each having a bent nose portion 7, 8 by which they are joined and each formed of two sheets 9, 10 of flat material joined at their edges, e.g. by gluing or vulcanizing. The projecting portions of the seams are folded and fixed to the surface of the elements, and the nose joint is reinforced by fabric wrapped round it. The parts 5, 6 of the elements are preferably cylindrical or conical, to minimize the wastage of material.
