Abstract

1406231 Collapsible boats PLANNED PROMOTION & SELLING Ltd 18 Aug 1972 [20 May 1971] 16150/71 Heading B7A A boat comprises four panels 10, 11, 12, 13 which have convex edges and which are joined by tape 14. After the removal of bracing thwarts 15, 16, a nose piece 22 and rowlock supports 30, the panels can be folded inwardly about their adjoining edges to lie flat against each other. The rear ends of the panels are straight and in the erected position lie in a plane. The rear ends of the panels are joined by two sheets 19 of flexible material, a bracing board being placed between the sheets. The thwarts 15, 16 are bolted to flaps 26 which are themselves secured to the boat by strips 27, 28 of flexible material.
