Abstract

1,025,189. Incandescent electric lamps. SYLVANIA ELECTRIC PRODUCTS Inc. Oct. 22, 1964 [Oct. 22, 1963], No. 43192/64. Heading H1F. [Also in Division H2] A lamp, especially a miniature lamp, e.g. for indicators, consists of a tubular glass envelope 1 in one end of which is sealed a stem 3 supporting lead-in wires 9, 11 connected to the filament 15 and also the ends of support wires 17, 19, 21, the opposite ends of which are formed into loops round the filament, the support wires frictionally engaging the envelope inner wall between their ends. The lead - in wires are folded back outside the envelope and secured to metal clips 7 shaped to the contour of the lamp and secured to a wedge-like base 5 of insulating material.
