Abstract

1487502 Halogen incandescent lamps PATENT - TREUHAND - GES FUR ELEKTRISCHE GLUHLAMPEN mbH 21 Feb 1975 [12 March 1974] 7392/75 Heading H1F A halogen incandescent lamp includes an M-shaped coiled-coil filament which is divided into four coiled-coil segments 9a that are separated by single-coil segments 9b, the filament being supported by two long outer support wires 6 and one short central support wire 7 with the supports 6, 7 engaging the three single-coil segments 9b and wherein the single-coil segments 9b are of a length greater than the diameter of the coiled-coil segments. Preferably the length of the single-coil segments is 2¢-3¢ times the diameter of the coiled-coil segments, and, as shown, the support wires 6, 7 are mounted on a quartz glass bridge 8.
