Abstract

102,402. Evans, J. L. Feb. 9, 1916. Sparking-plugs.-One or more sparking-terminals e is or are formed on an inverted cap d which is screwed externally tc engage the body of the plug. The cap, which has side openings f through which the gases obtain access to the sparking-points, is secured by a lock-nut g. The body of the plug is constructed of oxidized steel or brass, and the sparking-points of nickel or oxidized steel. The insulation is made of mica, porcelain, or steatite. More than one sparking- point b may be provided.
