Abstract

1,023,500. Cathode-ray tube circuits. E. K. COLE Ltd. July 28, 1964 [Aug. 15, 1963], No. 32233/63. Heading H4T. [Also in Division H1] A thermistor assembly 2 is attached to a frame deflection coil assembly by a terminal 10 and a strap 15. The thermistor assembly has the characteristic that one of the contact members to the thermistor is resilient and this maintains good electrical contact with the thermistor despite temperature variations. By joining the thermistor assembly to the coil assembly, the two are maintained at the same temperature and the impedance of the coil controlled by the thermistor. The coil assembly comprises a moulded plastic support 11 housing two line deflections one being shown at 12. A ring-shaped magnetic yoke 13 is made in two parts and has two frame deflection coils wound thereabout, one being shown at 14, the two parts being clamped together by strap 15.
