In an hydraulic installation with rotary-vane motor 2 for the drive of rudders and stabilizing fins (not shown) wherein the whole installation is carried by the rudder stock or fin shaft (as in the parent Specification) a horizontal platform 4 is provided which surrounds and is fixed to the casing 1 of the rotary-vane motor, and all the other component parts 6-22 of the hydraulic installation are mounted on or suspended from the platform.
