[Also in Division F2] A printing roller gear 6 is adjustably coupled to a coaxial driving gear 5 by worm-wheel 14, dog-clutched at 15 to gear 6, meshing a normally static worm 16 carried in a gear case 12 fast on gear 5, rotation of worm 16 in any direction to vary the phase relationship between gears 5 and 6 being effected by a stationary electric motor 31 connected by worm train 23, 22, 20, 19 with worm 16. The motor shaft rotates idly until energized by remote push-buttons.
