Abstract

1,017,635. Sack holder lids. S. C. LEVY. May 6, 1964 [Sept. 12, 1963], No. 35902/63. Addition to 908,095. Heading B8C. [Also in Division A4] In a modification of the refuse sack holder described in the parent Specification the hinged lid 21 supports a weighted handle 24 at the ends of bars 34, so that when the pivoted lever 25-26 is moved to disengage its lower end from a fixed abutment 28 the lid swings open automatically. The lever is weighted to rest in the vertical so that when the lid is shut it returns to the locking position. The lever may be spring mounted on its pivot. The holder may be mounted on a trolley.
