Abstract

[Also in Division A4] A loop 22, Fig. 2, for supporting a stretchable plastics bag containing kitchen refuse has a skid resistant surface such as rubber so that the frictional engagement prevents the bag from disengaging the loop. The loop may be attached to a vertical surface by a V-shaped bracket 26 or may rest on a horizontal surface by legs (42, 44, 46), (Fig. 4, not shown), or by an L-shaped support member (62), (Fig. 5, not shown). The receptacle may be closed by a hinged lid 70, Fig. 7, connected to the bracket 26 by screws or by 8-shaped clamps 78 and (80).
