[Also in Division B3] The feed rollers 4, 5 for feeding a web to a web-handling machine are driven from an oscillatory disc 12 mounted freely on the shaft 2 through a unidirectional device 14, 15 and a friction clutch 18, the latter acting as a brake to stop the rotation of the rollers when the disc 12 is oscillated in the reverse direction. The driven member is a disc 9 keyed to the shaft 2. Reverse rotation of the rollers is prevented by a unidirectional device 20, 21 co-operating with a fixed member 22.
