1417493 Web feeding brakes INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP 21 Jan 1974 [16 March 1973] 02755/74 Heading B8R A web feeding brake comprises a support 3, Fig. 2, having a slot 5 therein and a further support 4, movable relative to the support 3 and carrying a roller 10 which co-operates with a web 1 to press it against the slot and brake it. Curved lips of slot 5 may be replaced by rollers and the roller 10 may be replaced by a curved blade 12, Fig. 3.
