Abstract

1351520 Guiding webs J BOBST & FILS SA 19 April 1971 [26 March 1970] 23396/71 Heading B8R Apparatus for guiding a web such as a thin relatively rigid metal strip 10 comprises a pair of curved guide surfaces 6, 7 formed as peripheral grooves 11, 12 in spaced wheels 13, 14 mounted on a common support 15 provided with holes 16 to 19 adapted to receive the wheel spindles 20, 21. In use, the wheels 13, 14 are spaced apart at a distance slightly less than the width of the strip 10 so that the edges of the strip are curled over as the strip is guided between the surfaces 6, 7.
