A hub cap 9 is secured on a wheel and hub assembly by snap engagement of a radially inwardly-projecting peripheral rib 10 of the cap over shaped extensions 8 of the heads 6 of the bolts 3 which fasten the wheel disc 1 to the hub flange 2.
