Abstract

1277185 Friction wheels F B DORER 19 April 1971 [13 Feb 1970] 6934/70 Heading F2Q A friction disc comprises a flanged hub 11, 12 of relatively rigid material such as polypropyl- ene, nylon or aluminium to which a rim 15 of relatively resilient plastics material, such as polyurethane, is keyed by means of recesses 13 provided at spaced intervals around the flange 12 and opening to the outer edge of the flange by openings 14 of restricted width. The rim 15 includes annular side walls 17, 18 which overlap the opposite sides of the flange 12.
