1,008,885. Trusses. H.G. NELKIN, A. R. NELKIN, C. NELKIN, E. N. CEASAR, H. NELKIN, N. R. NELKIN, E. GOLDSTEIN and E. GOLDSTEIN [trading as H. G. ENTERPRISES]. June 5, 1964, No. 23507/64. Heading A5R. A truss comprises an elastic belt 10 having a fabric pad mounting member 11 secured thereto, the pad on member 11 comprising a flat portion 23 of foamed rubber and a rim 28 of foamed rubber secured around the edges of the portion 23. The portion 23 and rim 28 are held together by fabric coverings 39, 40 which are stitched to the pad and to each other. The belt is adjustable in length by means of buckle 17 and strap 18. On the member 11 is webbing 14 in which is a stay 15. Webbing 14 extends to form a leg strap 20 provided with a facing of perforated sponge rubber fabric 48 and rim 46. The strap 20 is adjustably secured to belt 10.
