Abstract
1,008,242. Injection moulding shoes. C.I.C. ENGINEERING Ltd. Sept. 10, 1962 [Sept. 11, 1961], No. 32485/61. Heading B5A. A rotary table injection moulding machine comprises, Fig. 1, a plurality of mould boxes 7 mounted on a table 6 each with two side mould components 55 pivoted about a vertical axis and a sole mould component 52 pivoted about a horizontal axis to enclose a last, and means also mounted on the table for opening and closing the moulds. The side mould components 55 are mounted on side plates 43, (see also Fig. 5), which are pivoted about a spindle 44 and operated by toggles 67 actuated by cylinders 68. The sole mould component 52 is mounted on a top plate 45 which is pivoted about a spindle 46 and operated by a cylinder 48. The last 57 is mounted on a mounting plate 59, and is raised or lowered by movement of a wedge 61 operated by cylinder 62. The injection nozzle assembly is as described in Specification 995,243; and the whole machine may be actuated hydraulically or pneumatically.
