Abstract

1,007,935. Centrifugal strainer separators. ESHER WYSS A.G. Dec. 29, 1961 [Dec. 29, 1960], No. 46683/61. Heading B1D The screening surface of centrifuge apparatus is sub-divided into a number of small-diameter screening drums through which the material being centrifuged flows in parallel. As shown, pusher-centrifuges, each driven by its own motor, are arranged honeycomb-fashion (viewed horizontally), and staggered so that solids discharged from the upper members (by perforate fixed annular troughs) are not impeded by lower members. A common conveyer belt 25 is provided. In Figs. 1 and 2 (not shown) only two mutually-displaced horizontal rows are provided (one above the other), and staggering is not necessary.
