[Also in Division H2] The closing of a pair of notched blades in a pliers-like wire stripper is determined by a pin 11 carried on one blade and engaging in a selected one of a number of notches in the periphery of a rotatable member is mounted on the other blade. When the pin 11 is engaged in any of the notches, member 12 can rotate no further. The plate is held in position, when not engaged by the pin, by a spring disc 15. Pin 11 is attached to one jaw and passes through an arcuate slot 10 in the other which limits the opening of the jaws. Specification 749,793 is referred to.
