1,004,812. Rotary-piston I.C. engines. GOETZEWERKE FRIEDRICH GOETZE A.G. Jan. 31, 1963 [March 23, 1962], No. 4105/63. Heading F1F. A piston for a rotary-piston I.C. engine of the trochoidal n and n + I lobe type has a plurality of straight sealing-strips 2 and 3, 7, 8 and 9 or 11 and 12 lodged in slots disposed in each endface in non-linear order between each pair of corners, pins 5, 6 and 10 being provided in a known manner to effect sealing between adjacent strips at the corners. Intermediately of the corners sealing between adjacent strips may be obtained by the end of one strip abutting a side of the other strip, or pin 4 abutting the end of one strip and having a flat surface in sealing contact with a side of the other strip.
