Abstract

1,004,806. Belt tensioning. MASCHINENFABRIK FAHR A.G. April 30, 1964 [May 27, 1963], No. 17958/64. Heading F2Q. A belt tensioning pulley 9 is carried by an arm 5 which is adjustably supported on a frame 2 by a mounting comprising inter-engaging frusto-conical members 1, 6 which are clamped together by a bolt 4. The member 1 is secured to the frame 2 and has a screw-threaded bore 3 into which the bolt 4 screws. The member 6 is secured to the arm 5 and has a central hole 7 through which the bolt 4 passes freely. A collar 8 on the bolt 4 facilitates disengagement of the members 1, 6 when the bolt 4 is loosened.
